More young people connecting with nature and heading to NSW national parks
New South Wales national parks recorded a record 65.5 million visits in the last financial year, with a notable increase among visitors aged 24 to 35. Environment Minister Penny Sharpe reported that this group’s attendance rose from 19 percent to 26 percent. The Blue Mountains National Park remains the most popular destination for visitors.
