A rare blue-green comet discovered last September will remain visible to Australians through May 10 before leaving the solar system permanently. The comet C/2025 R3 PanSTARRS, originating from the Oort cloud, is best spotted west of Orion's belt just after sunset with binoculars or telescopes.
