NT diphtheria cases declining as 10,000 immunised, one death confirmed
Northern Territory diphtheria cases are declining after authorities vaccinated more than 10,000 residents, with one confirmed death from the outbreak. Health Minister Steve Edgington reported 163 total cases, including 115 skin infections and 48 respiratory infections. New case numbers have fallen to nine weekly from a peak of 22, as health authorities continue rollout efforts across the territory.
