Carnarvon shire council will receive commissioner after mass resignations
Western Australia's local government minister will appoint a commissioner to the Shire of Carnarvon after six of eight councillors resigned. The resignations, led by former shire president Eddie Smith after 20 years, followed a breakdown in relations with the chief executive officer.
