Hopes inquest into Hillcrest jumping castle tragedy will begin in September
A Tasmanian coroner aims to begin an inquest into six children's deaths at Hillcrest Primary School in late September, nearly five years after a jumping castle tragedy in December 2021. Coroner Olivia McTaggart told the Hobart Magistrates Court the first hearing would occur in Devonport. A final date will be decided at a case management conference on July 24.
