‘Ninja Warrior’ Obstacle Racing Joins 2028 Los Angeles Olympics (EXCLUSIVE)
Tokyo Broadcasting System and the International Modern Pentathlon Union finalized a deal Wednesday to incorporate obstacle racing into Modern Pentathlon at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The new discipline replaces equestrian show jumping, which has been part of the sport since 1912. TBS licensed its "Sasuke"/"Ninja Warrior" intellectual property and obstacle designs for the Olympic event.
