Police did no risk assessment of Jewish festival before terror attack
NSW Police conducted no risk assessment of the Chanukah By The Sea festival at Bondi Beach before the December attack that killed 15 people, a royal commission heard Monday. Jewish security officials had warned police an attack was "likely" and requested static officers, but police sent only mobile patrols instead. Four officers were present when gunfire erupted.
