Eighty-year-old Daphne Cottee killed by car while walking in Perth
Eighty-year-old Daphne Cottee was struck and killed by a car while walking just 100 meters from her home in Gosnells, Perth, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Quick-thinking teenager Eugenie Smith attempted CPR before Cottee was taken to hospital where she later died. Police continue to investigate the incident, and no charges have been filed.
