Federal Court on Thursday handed Union Standard International Group a record $300 million fine in the largest ASIC enforcement case ever. The online trading firm, former sponsor of Sheffield United and South Sydney Rabbitohs, systematically defrauded thousands of Australian and Chinese customers of up to $300 million through complex financial derivatives between 2018 and 2020.
