TMK gas surge clears path to production at Mongolian project

TMK Energy posted a 48 percent increase in gas rates at its Gurvantes XXXV project in Mongolia during March, reaching a peak of 1,350 cubic metres in a single day. CEO Douglas Ferguson highlighted that the reservoir pressure has been reduced sufficiently to produce commercially significant gas quantities.
