Rescuers save Troy the horse from flood, return him home safely
A horse named Troy was rescued after being swept away in a fast-moving flood in Illinois on April 4. Fire crews from Marengo built a makeshift raft to retrieve the 20-year-old Appaloosa from a 15-foot deep creek, where he was stranded for eight hours. Troy has since returned home to his owner in McHenry County, happily grazing again.
