Pair identified as mother faces court accused of murdering four-year-old
A mother was charged with murder after her four-year-old daughter, Cleo Rose Catterall, was found dead at a home near Brisbane on Monday. Jessie Renee Phillips, 31, appeared in court Tuesday and was remanded in custody. Police said a postmortem examination will determine the cause of death and are investigating whether others were involved.
