Big-bellied crocodile airlifted to solve mystery of missing man
South African police shot and airlifted a 15-foot crocodile from the Komati River after human remains were found in its stomach, believed to belong to missing hotelier Gabriel Batista, 59. A ring matching Batista's description and severed body parts were recovered during the necropsy. DNA testing will confirm whether the crocodile consumed the businessman who disappeared in floodwaters.
