'You are my god', Japan's PM tells British rock band Deep Purple

Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi met the British rock band Deep Purple in Tokyo on Friday. Takaichi, a lifelong fan, called the band her 'god' and gifted drummer Ian Paice a pair of signed drumsticks. She expressed hopes that their tour would promote cultural exchange between the UK and Japan.
