Reza Adib charged with rape and sexual assault following Gold Coast apartment
Reza Adib, 59-year-old partner of former Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, was charged Friday with three counts of rape, two counts of deprivation of liberty, and one count of sexual assault. Police conducted a forensic search of his Burleigh Heads apartment Thursday, declaring it a crime scene. Adib was granted bail. Authorities said Palaszczuk is not involved in the investigation.
