Digital drivers' licences coming to WA, trial to begin next year
Digital drivers' licenses will be introduced in Western Australia next year, with a trial starting in mid-2027. The program, supported by a $28 million budget, will allow residents to access their licenses through the ServiceWA app. Physical licenses will remain available for those who prefer them, according to assistant Transport Minister Jessica Stojkovski.
