Nobel laureate Coetzee boycotts Jerusalem festival over Israel's Gaza campaign
Nobel laureate JM Coetzee declined to attend Jerusalem's international writers festival in May, citing Israel's "genocidal campaign in Gaza" in a letter to organizers. The 86-year-old South African author, who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2003, said the military campaign has changed his previous support for Israel.
