Cuba has run out of diesel and oil, energy minister says
Cuba's Energy Minister Vicente de la O Levy said Wednesday the country has completely depleted its diesel and fuel oil supplies amid a US-led blockade. Shortages have forced 20 to 22-hour blackouts across Havana, closing hospitals, schools and government offices. Venezuela and Mexico have cut oil supplies after US threats of tariffs, leaving Cuba reliant only on domestic gas production.
