NSW short-changed by Chalmers on key infrastructure funding
NSW will receive $1,217 per person in federal road funding through mid-2030, less than Queensland's $2,272 per person and South Australia's $3,647, analysis shows. The $10.8 billion allocation represents 28 percent of Australia's $38.7 billion road investment program. Premier Chris Minns criticized the disparity, saying NSW taxpayers' money flows to other states despite the state's larger population.
