Jewish group warned about alleged gunman before Bondi massacre
A Jewish community security group flagged Naveed Akram to NSW Police in July 2019 as an associate of an Islamic fundamentalist network years before his alleged December 2025 Bondi attack. The Community Security Group email identified Akram alongside other members of the Bankstown Dawah street preaching group. Police said they cannot comment due to ongoing investigations.
