WA government steps in to pave way for Mount Hospital takeover
Bethesda Health Care will take over Mount Hospital in Perth's CBD from the second half of 2025 under a deal brokered by the WA government. The 173-bed facility, operated by Healthscope before it entered receivership in May 2024, employs over 500 staff. Existing employees will be offered positions with Bethesda as the hospital continues operations.
