Super Netball record broken by 16yo school captain Eva Carneiro
Sixteen-year-old Eva Carneiro became Super Netball's youngest-ever player on Saturday when the Giants school captain debuted against Adelaide. Carneiro, NSW U17 national champion and Aquinas Catholic College captain, played 20 minutes off the bench in the third quarter. Her milestone follows former Diamonds players Kim Green and Maddy Proud, who debuted at the same age in previous netball.
