Man allegedly launched lengthy attack on teen before killing her
Michael Kurt Pringle, 21, was denied bail after being charged with murdering his girlfriend Krystle Monks, 18, in Ipswich in 2023. Prosecutors told Brisbane's Supreme Court that Monks suffered a lengthy assault with defensive injuries to her arms and wrists before a fatal blow to the head. Justice Scott McLeod rejected the bail application on Wednesday.
