Resident fighting for life after being struck with timber opening door of
A resident is in critical condition after allegedly being ambushed at the front door of a northeast Queensland unit. The 46-year-old man was allegedly struck with a piece of timber while opening the door of his home on James St at Manunda, in the inner west of Cairns, about 11pm on Saturday.
