Man fights for life after midnight hammer attack at Sydney hospital

A man in his 60s is fighting for his life following a hammer attack at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney early Thursday. A woman in her 40s allegedly assaulted him in his hospital room shortly after midnight. The attacker has been charged with grievous bodily harm and taken to Newtown Police Station.
