Woman accused of poisoning young girl

A 43-year-old woman was charged with attempted murder after allegedly poisoning herself and a 10-year-old girl in Yarrabilba, south of Brisbane, on March 12. Both were hospitalized, but the child was discharged the same day. The woman remained in hospital until Saturday and was remanded in custody, set to appear in court on May 12.
