Man breaks ankle tumbling into Scarborough’s Snake Pit skatepark
A 39-year-old man broke his ankle after falling several meters into Scarborough’s Snake Pit skatepark bowl just before midnight on Sunday. Emergency services rescued him using a pulley system, with the operation lasting over an hour. Witnesses noted he was not using a skateboard and merely lost his footing.
