Parramatta Council leaders plotted to manipulate staff hiring through text messages
Parramatta Council's anti-corruption inquiry heard Thursday that sacked boss Gail Connolly and colleague Angela Jones-Blayney plotted to hire staff from other councils through text messages in 2022. Jones-Blayney derided existing executives as "f---ing stupid" and "dickheads" while discussing bringing "fantastic staff" to replace them.
