Older Australians to receive free RSV vaccinations

Free vaccinations for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) will be available to older Australians starting May 15. Eligible individuals include those aged 75 and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 60 and over. The federal government has allocated $445.3 million to expand the vaccination program amid rising concerns about the virus in aged care facilities.
