AFL adjusts Anzac Day game times to comply with Tasmanian law
The AFL shifted game times on Anzac Day due to a 97-year-old Tasmanian law prohibiting sports events before 12:30pm. Hawthorn’s match against Gold Coast will now start at 12:30pm AEST, while Essendon and Collingwood's game at the MCG will begin at 3:20pm AEST.
