Push to find resting places for remains found in desecrated graves

Castlemaine cemetery in Australia's Goldfields region is searching for descendants of thousands whose remains were illegally exhumed and dumped in dirt piles since the 1800s. Cemetery manager Deb Tranter estimates 3,000 to 5,000 people's remains are scattered in bushland after the cemetery trust repeatedly reused graves despite warnings from authorities spanning decades.
