Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, 74, has been placed in an induced coma to aid recovery after emergency intestinal surgery in Faro, Portugal, her spokesperson said Thursday. The surgery went well, the statement added. Tyler achieved international fame in the 1980s with "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" and is scheduled to tour Europe later.
