Craig Silvey pleads guilty to possessing child exploitation material charges
Australian author Craig Silvey, best known for his award-winning novel Jasper Jones, pleaded guilty Tuesday to possessing and distributing child exploitation material. The 43-year-old appeared in Fremantle Magistrates Court after police seized electronic devices from his home in January. Two other charges, including one related to producing such material in 2022, were dropped.
