Boost to frequency of Sydney’s metro train services as fuel crisis bites

Sydney's M1 metro rail line will add 166 extra services weekly starting Monday due to increased demand from commuters amid a fuel crisis. Transport Minister John Graham stated that boosting frequency to every three-and-a-half minutes during peak hours is a necessary response, with almost 1.5 million passengers using the line each week. The changes will last until June 7.
