Perth bikie boss David Pye sentenced to life for ordering 2020 murder
Perth bikie boss David Pye was sentenced Wednesday to life imprisonment with a 34-year non-parole period for ordering the 2020 killing of rival Nick Martin at a drag racing venue. Pye paid hitman Benjamin Johnston $100,000 to shoot Martin, who died at Kwinana Motorplex while watching races with family. Justice Joseph McGrath described the contract killing as calculated and premeditated.
