Gina Rinehart financed most of Bruce McWilliam’s stake in Seven
Gina Rinehart, Australia's richest person, financed most of Bruce McWilliam's nearly 10 percent stake in Southern Cross Media, which owns Network Seven and Triple M, according to an ASX disclosure Wednesday. Rinehart's company Hancock Prospecting backed the investment in the Perth-based media conglomerate that also publishes The West Australian. Rinehart previously held interests in Network 10 and Fairfax Media.
