PLC Resources fires first drill shots into major WA gold anomaly
PLC Resources completed its maiden drilling campaign at the Rochefort gold prospect in Western Australia's Murchison region, drilling five holes totalling 1,018 metres across a 400-by-350-metre gold-in-soil anomaly. Initial logging revealed quartz veining, sulphide mineralisation and potassic biotite alteration in sheared mafic rocks consistent with gold-bearing hydrothermal systems. Assay results are expected within four to six weeks.
