Gentleman’s Relish is toast after its maker axes the pungent anchovy spread

AB World Foods has ceased production of Gentleman’s Relish due to falling sales, ending the 195-year history of the anchovy spread. Despite the discontinuation, restaurant Simpson’s has created a similar version, with owner Jeremy King stating, “We actually make our own.” Fortnum & Mason will also continue to produce its own version of the condiment.
