‘The Rookie,’ ‘Will Trent’ Renewed at ABC
ABC renewed 'The Rookie' and 'Will Trent' for new seasons, with 'The Rookie' entering its ninth season and 'Will Trent' its fifth. Both series, currently airing, are set to conclude their respective seasons in early May. ABC has already renewed additional dramas including '9-1-1' and 'Grey’s Anatomy.'.
