Naval parade shuts down city streets as HMAS Brisbane comes to town
Traffic was backed up and buses diverted away from Brisbane’s CBD as a naval parade made its way down Adelaide Street on Friday morning, before a ceremony outside City Hall. HMAS Brisbane is visiting its namesake city this weekend, with members of the public invited on board for an Australian Navy open day on Sunday.
