Brian Wakefield obituary
Brian Wakefield, a renowned amateur goalkeeper, passed away at age 91. Wakefield was reserve keeper for Great Britain during the 1960 Rome Olympics and dedicated 40 years to Corinthian Casuals as a player and manager. He is survived by his daughters, Linda and Karen, and was married to Marjorie until her death in 2024.
