‘Elephant on back’ but no croc sightings in record WA swim
Ultramarathon swimmer Andy Donaldson set a new world record on Tuesday by completing a 55-kilometre swim from Lake Argyle to Kununurra’s Diversion Dam in 11 hours and 51 minutes. Donaldson joked about not seeing any crocodiles, only the ones worn by his coach. He battled dehydration and fatigue but celebrated the achievement with high spirits.
