Wayne Swan launches national committee to fight prostate cancer epidemic
Former Australian treasurer Wayne Swan announced formation of a National Committee for the Elimination of Prostate Cancer on May 13. Swan, who lost his father to the disease and survived his own diagnosis, says nearly 29,000 Australian men are diagnosed annually with almost 4,000 deaths.
