Rescue crews complete 13-hour mission to retrieve injured fisherman from trawler
Australian rescue crews completed a 13-hour mission Sunday to retrieve a fisherman with a broken leg from a trawler 110 nautical miles off the central Queensland coast. LifeFlight pilot Alex Dorr said rough seas, remote location and multiple refuelling stops made it his most challenging rescue in 20 years. The patient was transported to Bundaberg Hospital in stable condition.
