Man on mobility scooter killed by car in Alice Springs
A 49-year-old man using a mobility scooter died after being struck by a car on Telegraph Terrace in Alice Springs on Friday evening. The man was hit by a Toyota Prado driven by a 43-year-old woman at a light-controlled pedestrian crossing around 6:45pm and sustained fatal injuries. Police say the driver appeared to be complying with traffic.
