Ex-bikie boss who paid sniper to kill rival gets 34 years in
Ex-Rebels bikie gang president David Pye was sentenced to 34 years in prison Wednesday for paying sniper Benjamin Luke Johnston to assassinate rival Nick Martin at a Perth motorplex in December 2020. The shooting killed Martin in front of onlookers during a drag racing event. Pye was also convicted of plotting murders of his ex-girlfriend and another rival.
