Training aircraft crashes at Parafield Airport, killing instructor and student pilot
Instructor Robert Hoyle, 29, and his 24-year-old student died when their Diamond DA42 training aircraft rolled sharply left seconds after takeoff at South Australia's Parafield Airport on Thursday, crashing into a hangar and triggering a catastrophic fire. Ten others were injured. Hoyle, known as "Goose" to colleagues, had been a commercial pilot for over a decade.
