Drone ban lifted at Coogee Beach after woman mauled by shark
A temporary drone ban was lifted at Coogee Beach on Sunday to allow Surf Lifesaving NSW to scan for sharks after a woman was mauled, leaving her in critical condition. Agriculture Minister Tara Moriarty stated the government will work to make the exemption permanent and is funding drone pilot training and new drone purchases for Surf Lifesaving.
