Neale Daniher receives state funeral honour at MCG on June 10
Neale Daniher will be honoured with a state funeral at the MCG on June 10, Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan announced. The AFL icon died Monday aged 65 after a 13-year battle with motor neurone disease. Daniher, who played 82 games for Essendon and coached Melbourne to the 2000 grand final, co-founded FightMND, which has committed over $141 million to research.
