Former teacher jailed for grooming teenage boy
Former high school teacher Karly Rae was sentenced to a minimum two years in prison Wednesday for grooming and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student. The 37-year-old Newcastle, Australia teacher contacted the boy via social media in September 2024 and later engaged in sexual intercourse.
